Sephora Venites was born and raised in Brazil. At the early age of thirteen, she dashed out of her small hometown in Minas Gerais, to the largest city in Brazil, São Paulo, and commenced her career in modeling, while graduating high school, taking the acting classes that she'd long aspired to, and experimenting into the arts and handicraft in costume designs with Sandra Castro, an artist settled in the city, who became a close friend and an influence to Sephora. She Started her acting career in TV commercials. " I always had great support from my family, I remember when my dad drove me from our city to my first modeling photo-shoot, it was an Avon campaign, we drove about 300 mi to get there. Also my mom went with me to my first auditions..." After a few deceptive experiences in São Paulo, she aimed to move to Europe, and Barcelona was the dreamed destination.It was a lucky start in Spain, when she soon started landing major modeling appearances, working for designers like Josep Font among many renowned brands like Gucci and Custo Barcelona, and winning her auditions on tv commercials for cosmetic brands like Garnier and Nivea. " I literally knocked on many doors until I found some opportunity. I think I was lucky to get to work no matter what. I wanted to study so I had to do anything to pay one's way."Sephora studied and graduated as a costume designer at the Institut Catalá de la Moda, in Barcelona.Thanks to her charisma and chameleon-like abilities, she combined her career on fashion and commercial industries, traveling to different countries around Europe and Asia, modelling for various publications such as Elle, l'Officiel, Amica, Harper's Bazaar and 25ans. During the Beijing Olympics in 2008, she participated in several TV commercials for sports brands and featured numerous campaigns on still photography in fashion and artwork. Over and above, her desire to be an actress with the experience accumulated and the great passion for art had given her the confidence and resilience necessary to engage into acting. Having moved to London, she continued her career squarely as an actress, but yet working as a model for British brands and fashion books like the classic 'The Little Black Dress'. Ms. Venites was selected to complete her studies at the renowned American Academy of Dramatic Arts, in Los Angeles (2011). And with her persevering character, it didn't take her long to pursue many projects and kick off a new trajectory on cinema. With Chameleonic changes of appearance, Sephora featured in art house films like 'Liquid Love' (2014), loosely based on the book of the Polish sociologist Zygmunt Bauman, and tasted on some TV shows like "Mr Selfridge" (2013). "I have lots of ongoing projects at the moment. I'm experimenting on Theatre and film, it takes time and dedication, and I'm loving every bit of it."
